Quotes from listeners:
"Cluster Stars is such a refreshing change to what mainstream media has to offer today. It brings us back to our traditional roots and makes us think about what we as a society have evolved into. It provokes our emotions and makes us examine difficult questions about our identity and where we are going from here. Hats off to Sandra for her strength and bravery in addressing these issues through her music. I hope these songs motivate others to do the same."

Cluster Stars is an enlightening musical journey. You will do yourself a great service by listening to this CD with your heart as opposed to your ears. Sandra is so real while exposing her indigenous roots, you can't help but feel that your own soul has been touched.

I received your CD, Cluster Stars. Thank you. It is so very good. I loved hearing your voice, but more, I loved hearing your heart in the songs. The emotional integrity was so intense that I was moved to tears. Music always has an emotional aspect. Good music moves the soul. You have reached out with this collection of songs and touched my heart and soul. I wish I was in your physical presence so that I could give you a big long hug to say thank you for that gift. Much love.

I like all the songs on your album – both the music and lyrics. Many of the songs remind me of the great ballads from the 60’s and 70’s that I like listening to. I like how you deal with difficult/sad issues and still leave a positive and hopeful feeling. That may be why I don’t like country and western – many songs deal with difficult/sad issues and leave a negative feeling. My favourite song is “What Did It Cost You?” – the music reminds me of “One Tin Soldier”. I think One Tin Soldier describes the plight of Indigenous and Aboriginal peoples – while it isn’t as positive as your songs, it does send a strong message. I hope large numbers of people enjoy your songs and learn from them.
Today was the first day that I could listen to your CD from start to finish in one go – it takes you on quite a journey and I found it to be beautiful, sorrowful, and touching throughout – not to mention your beautiful voice. I am honoured that you shared it with me. I had many favourite moments, but perhaps my top one was “thank you for sharing…I didn’t know I was learning”. A poignant reminder about honour and respect.
I've listened to your CD a few times now. I have the same reactions every time. I really like it all: music, lyrics, subjects - all of it. It's hard to listen to "Indian in the Child" but good to listen to it. I can't listen to both "What did it cost you?" and "Goodbye" without crying. My heart hurts in sympathy. I don't know how you manage to sing them, but I suspect they are both therapeutic. "Thank you" and "Breathe" are powerful as well. Wonderful lyrics in all songs. Congratulations and very well done. Hugs.
Absolutely beautiful Sandra!! I really really like it!!! You are a wonderful singer and very good songs too! Very calming & gentle yet powerful. I cannot wait to give it a closer listen. Congratulations and enjoy the success that will absolutely come to you without question.. Thank you for sharing your talent.

Burn in Me is a country song uniquely blended with a distinct indigenous drumbeat and the subtle sound of the traditional jingle dance in the background.
There was a Child is a song that celebrates the birth of Christ, the baby who brought love and joy to the world. Typical of Sandra's song-writing style, it delivers a positive message filled with love, hope and gratitude.
